The food and drinks are absolutely delicious, the menu is extensive, and the interior is beautiful. If you’re like us and you don’t eat out much (or if you do), make it count by going somewhere unique and supporting a local business!

Wow! I was feeling adventurous and decided to try this place out and I am SO glad I did. They have a range of different items and I think there is something for everyone. I got a 12 steak shawarma and it was so affordable and high quality. The meat was perfectly cooked and it's so flavorful! Be sure to have lots of napkins as it can be drippy on the sides. It comes with a side of fresh homemade fries. It doesn't say on the menu that they are served on the side, but it's NBD. You know it's fresh because a few pieces were stuck together. They were nice and crispy. For a drink, I got the west African pineapple and ginger juice with mint. If you love ginger, you will love this drink! So yummy! It would be cool if it was garnished with mint, but nonetheless, it was amazing. If I were in the area again, I would come back to this place!

The owner came up and talked to us and asked us how we liked our food that was so respectful. The Chef was FANTASTIC!!!! The food just hits your soul in such an amazing way, I love culture. The lamb chops, egg rolls and Fufu egusi was amazing!!! The server was also amazing helped me pick out an amazing African drink. Everyone that works here is so kind and chill and respectful. I highly recommend this restaurant. Best choice ever!!!!

Was looking to try African food for the first time, and Heritage was absolutely the best choice. Amazing flavors from everything we had, and yes, dishes could run you 25 dollars but they are deservedly so, professionally plated and all. Non-alcoholic beverages but top tier as well.

My partner and I ordered the dibi afra lamb with the mushrooms and cauliflower sides for dine-in. The food was well spiced and flavorful, the portions a good size for two, and we waited about 30-40 mins for the food to be served. The place was big with multiple dining areas and beautiful interior decorating. We’re definitely planning on going back to try different items from the menu. We look forward to experiencing more African cuisine

Fantastic service from Ms. Fatou at this beautifully decorated Gambian restaurant. Everything was very fresh and flavorful, big portions. The restaurant is spotless and a lot of care went into the design, for example, the bar is absolutely stunning. We really enjoyed everything we ate and drank and definitely look forward to coming back. This is a very special place. Good place for a small bite or a full multi-course meal with friends and family.

Heritage African Restaurant is a gem in Everett! The flavors are rich and authentic, making it a fantastic spot for anyone looking to explore African cuisine. I tried the goat pepper soup with rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The mojito was a refreshing complement to the meal. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and definitely a must-visit.
